Following a successful EGM on Sunday, we’re thrilled to announce that we will still be fielding a Saturday League team and cricket will continue to be played on the cliff this season.

After an appeal in the April edition of the Bridlington Echo, several new players and volunteers have come forward.

Vince O’ Grady from the Club, said: “We are still on the look out for news players to help boost our team for the 2025 season. Anybody wanting to play should contact the club and are more than welcome. It was voted on unanimously that the club fields a team in the YPLN Beckett League Division 2.

“We still require players and help from all members and anybody who wishes to join as we try and rebuild for the future and keep cricket on the cliff top. We are happy to work with any other organisations or sports
and Barmston CC will also be using our ground on a night.”

“The club is also looking at holding a Masters Cricket Match in the school holidays, with more details to follow.

“Fundraising will also be an important requirement for this season so should you have any thoughts or can offer help please get in touch
