A fundraising event that aims to raise funds for a local youngster is set to take place on 25 March at Bridlington CYP on Gypsey Road.

Paul and Jo Robinson are organising a Sports Charity Day to benefit youngster Henry Brown , aged 5, who has cerebral palsy.
Sports such as table tennis, badminton and pickle ball are available with expert coaching from local club members and to add to the fun there will also be a Beat the Goalie contest (played between 12 -1pm).

Organiser Paul, explained: “Henry always has a smile on his face and his energy and his enthusiasm for life is incredible and inspiring to us all. Henry will be taking part in the event and he has already told me he is going to beat me at badminton.”
Money raised from the event will help Henry with treatments such as physiotherapy to aid his walking.

No experience is required to play the sports and equipment is provided. Entry fee is £5.00 for adults and under 14’s are charged at £2.50 – this is for participation in all of the sports.
There will also be a grand raffle on the day which starts at 12 noon and runs until 5pm. For more information please contact Paul Robinson or Jo Robinson on 01262403435.
