The date for the second Bridlington Food Festival has been confirmed as Sunday 20th August after the huge success of the first ever event held last weekend (July 2).

Organiser Angela Langton, who organised the first event, was amazed by the response to the first ever food festival on King Street, with many traders reporting selling out of food by 1pm.

Said Angela: “So far, for the 20th of August, the following have confirmed their presence: Two Tossers Pizzas, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party (booking essential), Pump House Brewery, Cups and Saucers, Say Cheese, Burger Van, Kettlecornnyc, Tiffin and Tart, Creative Girlie’s Facepainting, Keeley’s Cakes, Arnold Fisheries and Prosecco, Wright’s Pannini with Sourdough, The Helbrow Chutneys, Pop Off Cakes, Go Whoopies, The North Bar Roasting Company, George’s Caribbean Food, Smoking Hot Chilli Bees, Three Ridings Coffee, Creation Shack with Pick N Mix, Haisthorpe Supper Club, Let it Brie, Jerky Chicken Stand, TC Patisserie, Loopy Treats Dog Stand, and Indian Food (TBC), Vodka (TBC), and Rum (TBC).

“Additionally, we are still looking for a cheese stall, yoghurts, and food stalls, so if you are interested, please contact us for more information.”
Angela, who owns the Angela Bare chain of clothes and shoe shops, thanked all those who attended the first festival and was delighted to see the market back to the ‘good old days’ when as a child grew up helping her father on his stall.

“We are working to make this event even bigger, and now we have an idea of the space available.” added Angela.
