A Bridlington builder is getting ready to reach the peak of the highest mountain in Morocco during July to raise funds for the Bridlington Andy’s Man Club.

Tristrum Heidsta, 41, will undertake the three-day climb of the 4,200 metre Mount Toubkal, the highest of the Atlas Mountain range in North Africa.
After losing his close friend Tony to suicide two months ago,Tristrum will be scaling the peak with an Hawaiian shirt to place at the summit as a mark of respect to Tony.

Regulars at the Globe in Old Town have been making donations to the cause and there is also a Facebook page with a donation link set up under the name of Tris Heidstra.
The Bridlington group is held every Monday evening from 7pm at Bridlington Town’s Town Bar on Queensgate.

What is Andy’s Man Club?
‘Andy Roberts was loving and doting father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
He was an all round top guy, one of the truly nicest people. His love for his daughter was inspirational to see and the way he looked at her and idolised her was a blessing.
Sadly and tragically without any warning Andrew, at 23 years old, was taken away from all his family and friends by suicide.

On average one man every two hours takes his life in the UK. It’s often said a factor is that men don’t talk. Thats why we were born to break down these stigmas.
At ANDY’SMANCLUB you don’t have to be suicidal or have a mental health problem, we just want to get men talking.’
